The Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey has become quite the icon and now it has a brand new sister, Pink Honey! Here’s a look at Clinique Almost Lipstick Pink Honey as well as the original Black Honey. Enjoy!
What is Clinique Almost Lipstick Pink Honey?
If you’re a bit of a makeup junkie, you will probably have heard of, if not owned, Clinique Black Honey. It was one of the earliest viral sensations and has been in and out of the spotlight many times.
The concept behind Clinique’s Almost Lipstick is that it is not quite lipstick, not quite gloss. The texture has been formulated to be like a lip balm formula and it has a sheer buildable colour payoff and a satin finish.
Black Honey made its name with its ability to suit all skin tones while looking different on everyone. It uses a transparent pigment which glides on to the lips with a sheer colour payoff and a soft, conditioning shine. The Black Honey shade works to enhance the natural tone of your lips.
The Clinique Almost Lipstick Pink Honey is a new, pinkier take on the original. It uses the same formula but delivers a subtle, buildable soft pink tone.

My Review
I have been a big fan of Clinique Black Honey for a long time. I was super excited to try the Pink Honey shade as because I love a soft pink lip look.
The Clinique Almost Lipstick Pink Honey shares the same easy glide, easy to apply formula as Black Honey. It’s sheer and buildable and gives a noticeable pinky tint pretty quickly.
If you love a real classic pink, I think you will like this. I actually thought I would like this more than the original, but I have to say, Black Honey is still the one for me. I don’t think you can beat it! It just gives such a natural looking flush to the lips that you can build to a more berry-depth if you wish, which is perfect for Autumn.
What I love about both shades is that it’s so easy to apply. You don’t need to be precise or good at makeup, in fact, you don’t really even need a mirror to put it on. It’s fab.
If I want to make it look more ‘done’, I just use it with a lip pencil for a more defined look. I have been loving the new Jones Road ones. If you want to check all those shades out, read: Jones Road The Lip Pencil Review & Swatches.
